"Ten dollars per person for a meal is a great deal. My only hangup is I like to be low carb and some of their options are very carb heavy."

"I tried plated first but sometimes the cost was a little bit too high for me. Blue apron is about $5 less per meal which can add up over time. I found the meals to be just as good too."

"I am not a chef and could barely make pasta. I tried out blueapron to cook for my girlfriend and it was easy and she was extremely impressed with my skills."

"If you have time to cook them, the meals are good. On time delivery. This just turned out to be way more prep cooking than I was looking to do. If the meals came pre-measured and chopped I would continue the service. The recipes are way to intricate for afterwork meals.
In addition, when I get a fish meal, it always smells up the veggies & the other meal. Maybe the fish should be packaged separately. I wanted so much for this to be my solution to eating out. But it takes about 2.5 hours for each meal from start to finish. Not convenient for working parents or even doable for a sitter.
My 13 y.o. son actually asked me to increase the rating from 2 to a 3 or 4 rating because he said everything tastes great. Just know, you will need lots of time to prepare these meals."

"The best decision we've made since Netflix. Every part of Blue Apron from the recipes, food quality, website delivery setup and customer service is a model of greatness.
The worst part is the sadness you feel inside when you hit the "skip week" button!
I had a delivery go MIA during a snow storm and within a few hours of submitting a contact form, Liz is customer service had already solved the problem.
Really digging it!"
