"Some rental car company complaints amuse me (and many don't). I think part of the behavior of rental car company is that they are handing the keys to a $30,000 vehicle (give or take) to someone they barely know (again, give or take), and the driver will probably abuse the car because it's "not theirs", so I take no offense against a counterling who once again reviews insurance issues and wants me to sign-off on decline additional coverage. Fortunately, I haven't had to deal with a real problem. Part of that is luck, and I've read true horror stories. This time, lucky again.

Budget did a great job. No complaints. Fast (as can be expected -- it's never fast if you go to the counter), pleasant, competent service. A great car and a reasonable price. Fast return. Considering this a rental car company, it's as good as it gets. Yes, I can fantasize better service: I get a big hug as I walk in, some old guy immediately tosses me the keys to a corvette and says, "bring it back empty, and don't worry about a crumpled fender". But since I'm renting a car in the real world, not an imaginary one, world, this was as good as it gets."

"I had purchased several times in the past - but the last Frontline Cat flea product did not work for our cats after we tried 2 months - couple of doses…(once a month, tried twice) company was courteous but kept saying maybe cats are immune to it now…then suggested try another one of their flea control products used on the cat food? I suggested just exchange the product (maybe it was from an old or bad batch) and I will try again, but after 2 or 3 calls, emails and other back and forth, it was not worth the hassle. They wanted me to return un-used portions then they would refund or credit or ??? I just wanted an exchange of what I bought to try again!! Too much trouble - I said never mind - I am done with your company . Don't have the time to spend on this return issue!!"

"Rented car from West Palm Beach Airport for one day.Apparently it had the e-toll pass device in the car, which was left on the on position.

I was not informed that it was in the car nor that it was on. So on one way of the trip I know I paid every single toll in cash. Half through on the way back is when I noticed the e-toll device in the car. I paid at least half the tolls on the way back.

Though it seems since it was on I was charged even when I already paid. Called budget and e-toll both refused to refund the $15 I was falsely charged.

Saying I don't have proof that I paid.It was there mistake to leave the e-toll device in the on position in the vehicle and not informing me."
