"We recently hosted our 7 yr old daughter's birthday party here with 16 friends plus some siblings. Everything regarding the party was done really well and our daughter was thrilled. The mothers of her friends continue to tell me how much fun their daughters had as well. I did A LOT of research on the different chuck e cheese's in the peninsula before booking our party here, including visiting each one. The San Bruno location was clean, the staff and managers were helpful in the planning, the helper we had the day of the party did a great job and San Bruno had a few games that the Redwood City location did not have.
I continued to check with the staff prior to the party as our guest list was growing, and we were the only party at our time slot (they can host 2 parties at one time). I think that was a benefit as there were not many external patrons during our party which let our relatively large group roam the whole facility. I read through all the (mostly negative) reviews and wanted to post a very supportive one. You aren't going to change what chuck e cheese is - a slightly outdated game venue and yes the quality of the toys that you exchange for the tickets are cheap, HOWEVER the children LOVE it. I thought we got a good value for our party - they offer addition tokens for registering your party online and recently increased the number of tokens per child in the different packages. Overall, the San Bruno staff did a great job to make our event fun for everyone. I really do recommend a Chuck E Cheese party if your child is interested and want to compliment the San Bruno team. Thanks."

"We went here in August 2014, the noise level was good for a Chuck E! There was not many games at this location. The rat (Chuck E) looked very grungy when he came out, like a New York sewer rat! Overall, my children enjoyed their stay!"

"I have been to Chuck E Cheese's several times and every time I go it gets worse. The salad bar is always messy and empty. The restrooms are not kept clean. There is a lot of staff but no one can seem to keep the drink area clean or stock. The food is average but for the price of the food and tokens, you would think they would keep their establishment clean and in order."

"We went there for the kids to have fun, but actually all of us had fun in that place. It was a wonderful day, where the kids were safe & enjoying. The pizza wasn't that good, but it was OK as long as we enjoyed the games there. We will be going there soon."
