"The one in Cathedral City, California, was nothing but great. The guys were really helpful, and Marco (I think that was his name..) was very pleasant and informative. Great staff, stuff is a little expensive but its PepBoys so i like paying for quality. will come again."

"It's interesting to see all the negative comments because I've been coming here for 2-3 years now and have actually been pretty happy with the automotive repair staff in a dozen or so visits, from oil changes to failed starters to other problems in between.
I've always found their staff informative and friendly and, whether this is me being duped or not, usually walk away feeling like they're telling me the truth.
My only complaint might be, yeah, the $90 diagnostics check just to figure out a problem hurts and on busy weekend days, I've had my phone call stay on hold for what feels like an eternity, but overall, I now bring my car there by choice, not just convenience."

"A rider or a car enthusiast may love this site. I don’t think anyone else may love this site so much. This site deals with car accessories. PepBoys delivers the parts of a car as ordered by their customers. Thus you cannot find any good articles to know about a brand new car in this site. This is only for business."

"As a woman I am always afraid of getting had by auto mechanics. I had the opposite experience today. The manager and his technician Alex were very kind to me and even though they didn't get my service today I pledge to utilize them in the future.
Alex was able to take time out of his way to go on a test drive with me in order to help me identify a specific problem with my car. I thought it showed great integrity for him to suggest that I go to a specialty shop or the dealership for my specific issue. The honesty and patience is duly noted, and I will happily send my other friends here.
I knocked off a point because I had to wait around for a while as the manager attended to multiple other customers. He was pleasant and helpful, but I began to lose brain cells while absent mindedly watching daytime court dramas."
