Proactiv is a brand of acne treatment and skin-care products distributed by direct marketing company Guthy-Renker. Developed by Drs. Katie Rodan and Kathy Fields in 1995, Proactiv is a three-part acne treatment kit that is sold on a subscription basis. It includes a cleanser, toner and treatment that contain benzoyl peroxide and glycolic acid as their active ingredients. It is also sold in other varieties such as a Gentle Formula, Extra Strength and Proactiv+. Face masks, body washes and other skin-care products are also sold under the Proactiv name.

As far as fixing the issue with being able to access the account online, that was never resolved and the customer service I received regarding that was useless. When I called to cancel my account, the customer service rep was very understanding and the process was quick and easy. The customer service in that regard was excellent."

"Called to return product that didn't work on my son before the end of "their money back guarantee policy." After waiting on hold for 15 minutes I was finally given the address from a rude customer service rep that tried to sell me a different product. Was told my account was going to be charged for the next 2 months 25.00 regardless of the return almost unused product. That it could take 6-8 weeks once the product has been received for a refund."

"Proactiv+ is a nice three-step system that has results to it. I feel that with the exfoliation process, my skin is getting all of those dead cells removed. And then, with the simple, little amount of targeting solution that I put on my skin, I'm seeing a decreased redness, and I'm also feeling the benzoyl peroxide working. And I'm also noticing that with the hydration my skin feels soft and dewy."

"I bought a Proactive Solution product from them in June 2014, they are charging my credit card again without authorization, I called the company and they told me that the first time you buy something from them, automatically they continue charging you. They told me too, that if you don't want their products, return it and in six weeks they are going to adjust the charge. My bank is charging interest for this charge. It looks like a scam, there are hundreds of complaints against that company, may be is a good idea to summit a class sue."
