Real Customer Reviews
"I tried ThreadUP to see how good it was. I ordered different things and I was elated when I received my polka dot box. Unless you knew better you would think everything was new from original purchase. I have bought adult/children clothes and I love them. I sent some of my things and I was well pleased with what they paid me. Give it a try! You will love it!"
"I was hoping to get some cash from ThredUp and did all the requirements listed on their site only to get an email a month later notifying me that none of the clothing I sent were suitable. As a result my clothes were donated.
The clothing I sent were nearly new. It's a huge risk sending your clothes to them because you're going off of basic "guidelines" listed on their website that are and not actual offers. And if you want to insure your clothes (have them mail back your unsaleable clothing) you have to pay $13. Why would anyone want to pay for their used clothes a 2nd time? Biggest scam. Stay away!!"

"I can't pass up a good deal and ThredUp delivers on their promise to sell quality items at fair prices I have purchased from them on multiple occasions and each time I've been more than satisfied with the items I received AND the prices I paid. You can't go wrong when you buy from them!"

"Overall, I am merely satisfied with my order. There were a couple skirts that did not match the measurements that were listed on the site. Ironically, the 2 items that were listed as having tiny flaws were perfectly fine, but I have a serious gripe about a dress I received. The dress was not listed as having any flaws, but when it arrived I discovered that it had a tear that was about an inch long. The tear was repaired haphazardly with thick bright green thread that was not tied on the end. When I pulled on it, it came right out. And even if it had stayed, it would have looked ridiculous because the dress was red. Red! And repaired with green thread!
Other than this bizarre piece and the 2 skirts that didn't fit, the order was exactly what I wanted. I bought 14 items and only 3 were unsatisfactory.
I'll probably order from here again, but I'll be wary of high-priced items since ThredUp appears to not be entirely honest with their product descriptions. With some they are, with others they aren't."
