Verizon Wireless is the largest wireless phone provider in the U.S. that offers smartphones and phone accessories, as well as service plans. It sells smartphones and tablets from some of the biggest names in tech, including Apple, Samsung, Android, and Google, and augments the gadgets with a tier of reliable data and prepaid service plans. Verizon Wireless was the first national wireless provider in the United States to build and operate a large-scale 4G LTE network—the most advanced wireless network technology available, with speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G.
Real Customer Reviews
"Verizon is a leader in providing cell phone service, but their prices are WAY too high. It's actually frustrating bc you want the best service, and you're paying through the roof - and it's starting to be similar to the service that the other providers are offering. Some of the customer service reps are ok, others are not helpful. I've been lucky with them so far."

"With all of my bills I have them sent with automatic bill pay from my checking account. I don't have any issues with ANY other companies that I do this with, yet Verizon is always a problem. Every few months there is some extra thing that they needed to add to my bill. When I call in the company does not want to - actually - serve the customer. They WILL upsell you to fix any grievance that you might have."

"Have had verizon for years for phone and tv.recently got five new phones and was told I would be paying less then the $300.
a month I am now. My bill is now $400 a month. The phone I have is terrible but because I was two days past the return date they would not even consider exchanging it.
The customer service was horrible, spoke to about six individuals and they all could have cared less.
I was stuck with this service and phone for the next two years and that was it. I would pay to get out of my plan but it would cost me $3200. even if I returned all of the phones.
They have just gotten too big to care about customer service. It is all about the dollars."

"Wow, there are a lot of poor reviews on here so I don't know if I got lucky or they have changed things around. First off, I have to say this is a review of just the store and the staff in there not of Verizon in general. Verizon has been somewhat of a pain but their customer service both in stores and on the phone have been above average.
Anyway, back to the review of the store. I went in because I was having some technical difficulties with my phone. I had already been to another store in the area and they had worked on it for about half an hour without success. I was greeted and checked in when I walked in the door, and was helped in about 10 minutes or so by Ingrid. She did a great job helping me with the problem. I think she and others worked on it for about an hour and a half or two hours (I left halfway through to go do some shopping next door). While I was in the store, Ingrid came by periodically to let me know what they were trying to do and what options they had remaining. While I was waiting I was asked multiple times by other staff members whether I was being helped. I was also offered some cold water a couple of times.
Eventually they fixed the problem too which was a minor miracle in itself. But even if they couldn't solve the problem, I'd have been happy with the interaction and the obvious sincerity with which Ingrid helped me. If you go in, ask for her."

"They have great cell service but their customer service is horrible. I have been in the store 5 times to get a phone. The fourth time they wouldn't let me get it because the owner of the account wasn't there. They have the worst customer service of any place. The only good thing is the cell service and that is the only reason I am a customer."
