"Customer Service from Wind and Weather is terrible!! I ordered a product for Christmas from their website 4 days prior to their advertised deadline to ensure delivery before the 25th. After several days elapased, I e-mailed their customer service department for a tracking number since I didn't receive one. I did not get a response from them. The package finally arrived 13 days after ordering it. It was shipped from the east coast to the midwest!! Another e-mail asking for an explanation also did not get a response. A call to the customer service department revealed that Wind and Weather did not ship the item until 5 days after it was ordered even though it was in stock. They offered no explanation for the delay nor an apology. They suggested that I should have paid to upgrade the shipping even though the website made no mention of this. The customer service manager also made no attempts to remedy their error. I refuse to patronize a company that provides unacceptable service. I am shipping the product back for a refund. I would encourage others to think twice before ordering from this company. Any issues with your order or product will likely be ignored and never resolved."

"I have used TWO La Crosse Technology weather stations. BOTH turned out to be of poor quality and go bad after several months including parts being replaced. Since there is only a ONE year warrantee, they are no help to me after the warrantee has expired. I would expect for $150.00 that an item would last longer than 16 months with out failing. I have discussed this with both La Cross technologies AND Wind and Weather."

"Run to another store! Ordered item on 11/17 in time to be given as a Christmas gift. It arrived poorly packed with part missing. First email ignored completely, Second email finally answered on Dec 6. Excuse: the missing part had to be approvedby their corporate office. Right. Another delay until their Dec 15 email hoping I was satisfied with the resolution. WHAT resolution?!? On Dec 19, another email saying that their parts warehouse takes longer to ship than their store but they would ship a replacement part UPS Next Day Air. Hm. It is now the end of the year and I still do not have the part. Bottom line: Inexcusable lack of regard for customer; total lack of integrity in making empty promises just to placate customer rather than incur an expense to resolve the issue."

"Do not order from this company. I have waited almost a month to get refunded for two items (one that never even shipped out) and every time I call they say the same thing. That's it's been authorized or whatever, and that they'll see about getting that processed. Then they offer to leave a note on my account requesting that my refund goes through. Was the initial time I called asking for a refund NOT the date that it should have begun getting processed? Like, how many requests does it take? Am I not asking nicely enough, because I've been very patient and calm and not at all lost my temper.."

"Was looking for a somewhat unique Christmas present and found something at this merchant. I'm always leery when there aren't any reviews, but decided to take a chance. Ordered on a Thursday afternoon. Order shipped the following Monday and arrived on Friday with std shipping. Received acknowledgment email immediately and email with tracking info when the item shipped. All in all a good experience. Good company with unique items at good prices."
